Council President’s Statement On The Ravens Victory In Super Bowl XLVII

BALTIMORE, MD – “Today, the Baltimore Ravens became world champions for the second time in 13 years when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers in an epic game during Super Bowl XLVII.

The months of preparation that included grueling practices and film study were validated today with a Ravens victory. The organization, from owner Steve Bisciotti to the greatest middle linebacker to play the game, is a model of teamwork and community commitment.

The Ravens organization is a wonderful global ambassador for Baltimore and the entire state of Maryland.
