City Council President to unveil major youth-related legislative item Monday morning
Young will be joined by members of the Baltimore City Council, state legislators, nonprofit and business leaders, and parents.
BALTIMORE, MD – City Council President Bernard C. “Jack” Young will join a cross-section of Baltimore on Monday morning to announce plans for a major, multi-million dollar investment in Baltimore’s youth.
Members of the Baltimore City Council, state legislators, nonprofit and business leaders, and parents will join Young Monday to unveil his legislative proposal that will help improve outcomes for children and youth in Baltimore.
Young described the legislation as long-term medicine for Baltimore’s renaissance.
“I believe that combining the ingenuity of the private sector, with audaciousness from the public sector offers the perfect prescription to help Baltimore heal and thrive during its post-riot resurgence,” Young said.
