Council President Creates Baltimore COVID-19 Asset Map

Map Identifies Community Resources for Children, Seniors, People Who Are Most Vulnerable

BALTIMORE, MD (March 23, 2020) — Baltimore City Council President Brandon M. Scott compiled an online map of resources for children, seniors, people with compromised immune systems, and people who are uninsured today. 

Residents can now access the interactive Baltimore COVID-19 Asset Map online. The map allows you to locate resources, including youth & senior food sites, health care clinics, and shopping options for seniors by City Council district.

“A lot of information is coming out and it's changing fast. We want to do our part to make this essential information accessible and user-friendly,” said Council President Scott. “Residents, service providers, and neighborhood volunteers can use this map to find resources based on need and location. I have full confidence that this will be a useful resource to many of our residents and I encourage people to share this within their own communities.”

The Council President has continued doing daily live COVID-19 updates across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to answer questions from Baltimore residents. He will host the next live update today at 6:00PM.
