Special meetings of the Board of Estimates and City Council announced for passage of Baltimore's annual budget

BALTIMORE, MD - On Thursday, June 7, 2018, members of the city's Board of Estimates and City Council will hold special meetings in order to finalize the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2019 budget.

In accordance with Council rule 2-5, the City Council will hold special meetings on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m. inside Council Chambers.

The Board of Estimates will also hold a special meeting at 10:45 a.m. to receive the report by the City Council on the adoption of the Fiscal Year 2019 operating and capital budget ordinance and to adopt and certify the real and personal property tax rate. 

The schedule of meetings is as follows:

• 10:00 a.m. - special meeting of the City Council, Council Chambers
• 10:45 a.m. - special meeting of the Board of Estimates, Hyman A. Pressman Board Room
• 11:00 a.m. - special meeting of the City Council, Council Chambers
