After 9 Town Halls Across City, Legislative Team Will Analyze Feedback

BALTIMORE, MD (September 5, 2019) — Baltimore City Council President Brandon M. Scott will host the last of nine community town halls tonight, Thursday, September 5 from 6:30-8:00PM in the Park Heights community to hear residents’ reactions and feedback to his Legislative and Policy Proposal.

“Baltimoreans deserve a government that’s accountable and works for them,” said Council President Scott. “My team and I have received a lot of important feedback from residents at the first eight town halls and we’re looking forward to it informing our work going forward.”

This evening’s town hall will be held at 6:30PM at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore, 5700 Park Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD 21215. An ID is required for entry. Residents can offer feedback on the proposal and present new ideas for the City Council’s consideration.

The full proposal is available the Baltimore City Council website: bit.ly/councilpolicy.

After tonight’s town hall, the President’s legislative team will compile and analyze feedback, questions, and ideas collected from the town hall events, paper and online surveys, emails, snail mail, and social media posts.

Residents are still encouraged to share their ideas and reactions to the Legislative and Policy Proposal by emailing councilpolicy@baltimorecity.gov, completing an online survey at bit.ly/councilpolicysurvey, and using the hashtag #BaltimoreCanBmore on social media.
